Pleniflora is a variety of Japanese Kerria that produces orangey-yellow, pom-pom flowers in the spring. The arching stems have small, light green leaves that turn yellow in the fall. It's a large, suckering shrub and will form dense thickets if left alone.
Japanese Kerria grows best in full to partial sun, but it will tolerate full shade. It prefers moist, well-drained soils, though it will tolerate dry shade and wet soils.
