Sun King Japanese Spikenard starts off with bright gold leaves and reddish-brown stems. If grown in shade the leaves will turn lime to chartreuse. If given a few hours of sun, they will retain some yellow colouration. Tiny white flowers appear in late summer, but are not very ornamental. Fast growing, this plant can reach over 3' in ideal conditions.
