Kalanchoe Flowering

Flowering Kalanchoes are a popular flowering succulent that produces long-lasting clusters of small, star-shaped flowers in shades of red, orange, yellow, pink and white. They have glossy, dark green leaves with scalloped edges that provide interest even when the plant isn't in bloom. 

Flowering Kalanchoes can flower every 6 months or so, but require 12-14 hours of complete darkness each day for 6 weeks to trigger bloom production. 

Kalanchoe grows best in bright, direct to indirect light, though it should be slowly acclimated to direct sunlight. Plant it in a small pot with well-draining cactus/succulent soil and water only when the soil has fully dried out; remember to reduce your watering during winter.
