Laurentia 'Avant-garde Blue'
Isotoma axillaris 'Avant-garde Blue'
Avant-Garde Blue is a compact Laurentia variety with masses of small, star-shaped blue-violet flowers held above fine green foliage. Its soft, airy habit and long bloom period make it a great choice for mixed planters, borders, and garden beds.
Laurentia grows best in full sun to part shade with moist, well-drained soil. It prefers cooler conditions and may slow down during periods of intense summer heat, then begin blooming more heavily again as temperatures cool.
Seasonal Availability: Typically May through July

Care
Full sun outdoors (6-8+ hours of direct sun) and Part shade outdoors (4 hours of direct sun)
Keep soil moist, but not soggy.
If it is planted in a pot, it should have a drainage hole to reduce the likelihood of root rot caused by water accumulating in the bottom of the pot.
Increase watering in the heat of summer and watch for wilting or browning as signs to increase watering frequency.
