Liberty is a hardy rose that was developed to honour those who have fought for and preserved our liberties and freedoms. It was designed to resemble a poppy, the universal symbol of remembrance.
Liberty features single, brilliant red flowers that are quick to rebloom and resistant to diseases.
Roses grow best in full sun with fertile, well-drained soil. Newly planted roses should be watered regularly so that the soil doesn't dry out for long periods. Once established, roses should only need water during periods of drought. Consider adding organic matter to your gardens to improve soil fertility and drainage.
