Limequat
Citrus x floridana
Limequat is a compact citrus variety that is a cross between key lime and kumquat. It combines the tart flavour of limes with the soft, edible, sweet skin of kumquat. It can be eaten whole, used in beverages, preserves or baking and cooking.
Citrus should be grown outdoors in the summer once the temperatures are reliably above 15 degrees Celsius. Once the cool weather hits, they should be moved inside to a location that receives as much light as possible. Let the soil dry out slightly in between waterings, but not fully.
Seasonal Availability: Typically available April through June, depending on suppliers availability.

Increase watering in the heat of summer and watch for wilting or browning as signs to increase watering frequency.
