Lipstick Plant 'Mona Lisa'

Mona Lisa is an easy-to-grow trailing houseplant with thick, glossy, dark green leaves that are attractive even when the plant isn't blooming. It produces clusters of tube-shaped red flowers that protrude from dark burgundy calyces. They bloom freely as long as they receive enough light, with the heaviest flowering happening from spring to summer. 

Lipstick plants grow best in bright, indirect light but will tolerate medium light, though flowering may be reduced. They should be planted in a well-draining potting mix and watered only once the top few inches of soil have dried.
