. Your pot should have a drainage hole to reduce the likelihood of root rot caused by water accumulating in the bottom of the pot.

With acclimatization, it can be outside in a sunny to partly shaded location once overnight temperatures are reliably above 15°C.

Lithops require extremely well-draining soil that is low in organic matter, and are have no tolerance for over-watering. Do not water until the leaves are wrinkled, and the plant is actively growing. Do not water when plants are dormant.
