Brush Strokes Little Bluestem features powder-blue stems in summer that turn wine-red in fall. Tan seedheads appear in late summer/early fall.
Little Bluestem grow best in full sun and is not particular about soil as long as it is well-drained and not overly fertile or moist. Highly drought tolerant once established.
Seasonal Availability: Typically mid-April to August

Care
Full sun outdoors (6-8+ hours of direct sun)
Water every 1-3 days for first year until established (based on outdoor temperature & plant's water consumption). Be sure to increase watering in heat of summer and, watch for wilting or browning as signs to increase watering frequency.
