Magnolia 'Butterflies'
Magnolia 'Butterflies'
Butterflies is a large, deciduous magnolia that produces 4-5", slightly fragrant, warm yellow flowers that appear before the leaves. After the blooms, the dark green leaves emerge for the summer before turning yellow-brown in the fall.
Magnolias grow best in full sun with moist, slightly acidic, fertile, well-drained soils. They can adapt to clay, loam, or sand as long as drainage is good. We recommend planting magnolias in a sheltered location to protect them from cold, drying winds in winter and early spring.
Seasonal Availability: Typically available May through August, depending on suppliers availability.
