Magnolia 'Galaxy'

Galaxy is a large, usually single-stemmed magnolia variety that produces an abundance of 8" dark pink petals that are pale pink on the inside. The flowers appear later than other varieties, giving them a better chance at avoiding damage from late frosts. 

Magnolias grow best in full sun with moist, slightly acidic, fertile, well-drained soils. They can adapt to clay, loam, or sand as long as drainage is good. We recommend planting magnolias in a sheltered location to protect them from cold, drying winds in winter and early spring.
