Mint Pineapple
Mentha suaveolens 'variegata'
Pineapple Mint is an fragrant perennial that has variegated green and white foliage that have a subtle pineapple fragrance. The flavour is bright and sweeter than regular mint, with a slight apple taste.
You can harvest your mint as needed throughout the growing season, regular picking helps the plant grow fuller. If you would like to harvest the entire plant at once, wait until just before flowering.
Mint grows best in full to part sun with fertile, moist, well-drained soil.
We recommend planting Mint in containers, as it can grow aggressively in the ground. Remove flowers before they set seed to stop any unwanted spread.
Seasonal Availability: Typically available April through June, depending on suppliers availability.
