Mimulus ringens
Monkeyflower is a native perennial with pale, violet tubular flowers that bloom throughout the summer. The flowers are very attractive to pollinating insects, including bees and butterflies.
Monkeyflower grows best in part sun with consistently moist soil, and can also be grown in shallow water. Monkeyflower will tolerate full sun as long as the soil does not dry out.
Seasonal Availability: Typically available May through September, depending on supplier availability.

Care
Full sun outdoors (6-8+ hours of direct sun) and Part shade outdoors (4 hours of direct sun)
All plants classified as water plants prefer wet roots or to be partially submerged, depending on their submersion depth preferences. Plants with a submersion depth starting with 0cm can be planted in wet areas in the garden, in addition to pond edges.
