Pepper Sweet 'Carmen'

Carmen is a sweet pepper with an excellent, very sweet, nuanced flavour and crisp texture. The peppers start green and mature to a bright red. They are great for grilling, roasting or in salads. 

You can harvest your peppers once they have reached their mature size, but waiting until they turn red will give you the sweetest flavour. 

Peppers need full sun and lots of heat to grow. Wait until soil and nighttime temperatures are reliably above 18°C before transplanting outdoors. The soil should be fertile and well-drained. When you water, water deeply and let the top of the soil dry out before watering again.
