Pine 'Dwarf Mugo'
Pinus mugo var. pumilio
Dwarf Mugo Pine is a slow-growing, small evergreen that forms a dense, spreading mound of green needles that hold their colour all winter. Only a few inches of growth are put out each year, though it can eventually reach 3'-5' tall and 6'-10' wide.
Dwarf Mugo Pine grows best in full sun with well-drained soils and is not fussy about soil type as long as it isn't boggy or wet. Once established, it is drought-tolerant.
Seasonal Availability: Typically available May through September, depending on suppliers availability.
