Apple Slices Pinkroot is a unique, underutilized perennial with tubular, wine-red flowers in early summer.
Pinkroot tolerates a wide range of conditions. When grown in full sun it will produce more flowers, but will require more water to keep the plant looking good. In full shade it won't need as much moisture, but will have less blooms. Drought tolerance once established.
Seasonal Availability: Typically mid-April to August

Care
Full sun outdoors (6-8+ hours of direct sun) and Part shade outdoors (4 hours of direct sun)
Water every 1-3 days for first year until established (based on outdoor temperature & plant's water consumption). Be sure to increase watering in heat of summer and, watch for wilting or browning as signs to increase watering frequency.
