Poppy Oriental 'Princess Victoria Louise'
Papaver orientale 'Princess Victoria Louise'
Princess Victoria Louise Oriental Poppy is a unique perennial with large, cup-shaped, slightly papery petals that are salmon-pink with black splotches at the base. The flowers appear in late spring to early summer and will go dormant by midsummer as they do not tolerate heat and humidity well. Leave the flowers on as the seedpods are quite ornamental and can be used in dried floral arrangements.
Oriental Poppies grow best in full sun to very light shade in fertile, well-drained soils.
