Privet 'Golden Ticket®'
Ligustrum x vicaryi 'NCLX1'
Golden Ticket® is a slightly smaller variety of privet with glossy foliage that emerges bright yellow before aging to chartreuse. Unlike other varieties, Golden Ticket® produces little to no seed, and the few seeds that are produced are sterile.
Privets grow best in full to part sun and aren't fussy about what soil they grow in as long as it's not wet and/or poorly drained. Prune regularly to keep plants dense and prevent flowers from forming.
Seasonal Availability: Typically available June through August, depending on suppliers availability.
