Raspberry Red

Red Raspberry is an Ontario native that produces red, sweet berries. It's a large, sprawling shrub and will require support to grow on. The berries are attractive to wildlife.
Raspberries are self-fertile, and only one variety is needed to produce fruit.
Red Raspberry is a floricane-fruiting variety, meaning it produces berries on 2-year-old canes. Once the cane has finished fruiting, it should be cut back to the ground to encourage the growth of new canes.
Raspberries grow best in full to part sun with slightly acidic, moist, fertile, well-drained soil.
Seasonal Availability: Typically available May through August, depending on suppliers availability.

Care
Full sun outdoors (6-8+ hours of direct sun) and Part shade outdoors (4 hours of direct sun)
Water every 2-4 days for the first year until established (based on outdoor temperature & plant's water consumption).
If it is planted in a pot, it should have a drainage hole to reduce the likelihood of root rot caused by water accumulating in the bottom of the pot.
Increase watering in the heat of summer and watch for wilting or browning as signs to increase watering frequency.
