Paraplu Rouge® has some of the darkest pink flowers available in Rose of Sharon. Large blooms are produced in summer, and it has a slightly narrower, more vase-shaped habit than other varieties.
The flowers of Rose of Sharon only last for one day, but are produced in such abundance it's hard to notice!
Use Rose of Sharon as an informal hedge, or as a vertical element in your garden. Protect the trunk from hungry rabbits over the winter.

Care
Full sun outdoors (6-8+ hours of direct sun)
Water every 2-4 days for the first year until established (based on outdoor temperature & plant's water consumption). Be sure to increase watering in heat of summer and, watch for wilting or browning as signs to increase watering frequency.
