Rose of Sharon 'Pink Chiffon®'
Hibiscus syriacus 'JWNWOOD4'
Pink Chiffon® is one of our favourite varieties of Rose of Sharon. The large, double, soft-pink flowers are produced in summer. This variety is slightly narrower and more vase-shaped than other varieties.
The flowers of Rose of Sharon only last for one day, but are produced in such abundance that it's hard to notice!
Use Rose of Sharon as an informal hedge or as a vertical element in your garden. Protect the trunk from hungry rabbits over the winter.
Rose of Sharon grows best in full sun with neutral to alkaline soil and rich, moist, well-drained soils. They are drought-tolerant once established.
Seasonal Availability: Typically available May through September, depending on suppliers availability.
