Russian Sage 'Sage Advice'
Perovskia atriplicifolia 'Sage Advice', Salvia yangii 'Sage Advice'
Sage Advice Russian Sage is a tough perennial with a long blooming season. Starting in midsummer, small, lavender flowers begin to open on stiff silvery stems, lasting into early fall. The flowers are very attractive to pollinators. Russian Sage is captivating even when not in bloom due to its aromatic, silvery-green foliage. Compared to Denim 'n Lace, this variety is slightly taller and has darker purple flowers and calyxes, and broader leaves.
Russian Sage grows best in full sun with dry to medium moisture, well-drained soils. It is drought tolerant once established.
