Sago Palm

Sago Palm is a unique houseplant that is not actually a palm, but a member of the Cycadaceae family. It features stiff, glossy green, palm-like leaves that grow from a thick, shaggy trunk. Sago Palms are slow-growing and can live for decades when well cared for.
Sago Palms grow best in bright, direct to indirect light indoors. Plant them in well-draining soil and water sparingly, allowing the soil to dry out completely between waterings, as they are sensitive to root rot. During winter, watering can be reduced to once every 4–6 weeks or less, depending on the growing conditions.
Seasonal Availability: Typically available July through February, depending on supplier availability.

Let soil dry out almost completely before watering again. Your pot should have a drainage hole to reduce the likelihood of root rot caused by water accumulating in the bottom of the pot.
