Sea Holly 'Blue Hobbit'
Eryngium planum 'Blue Hobbit'
Blue Hobbit Sea Holly is a unique, compact perennial that produces tons of spiky, thistle-like, purplish-blue flower heads on silver-blue stems starting in midsummer. Makes a great cut or dried flower!
Sea Holly grows best in full sun with sandy soils that are low in nutrients. Poor drainage, especially over winter, will lead to death and soils that are too fertile or moist will lead to flopping. Very drought tolerance once established.
