Sedge 'Drooping'
Carex pendula
Drooping Sedge is a grass-like perennial with green foliage and drooping catkin-like spikes that appear in late spring to early summer. This sedge will readily self-seed, so remove spikes if you do not want it to spread.
Drooping Sedge can grow in any soil, as long as it is consistently moist, though it can tolerate short periods of drought.
