Silene Carol Jean™ 'Pink'
Silene Carol Jean™ 'Pink'
Carol Jean™ Pink Silene is a low-growing perennial that produces intense pink flowers starting in early summer, usually beginning to bloom as Creeping Phlox is finishing.
Silene grows best in full sun but will tolerate some afternoon shade. Keep the soil moist, but not waterlogged. Prolonged drought will cause flower buds to fail while boggy soils will lead to in root rot. Silene performs best in high heat, cool temperatures can delay flowering.
