Sansevieria trifasciata 'Whitney'
Whitney is a compact variety of Snake Plant with thick, upright, sword-shaped dark green leaves edged in pale green margins. It stays relatively compact as it matures, making it a great choice for desks, shelves, and other small spaces.
Snake Plants grow best in bright, indirect light but can tolerate lower-light conditions. Plant them in a well-draining potting mix and water only once the soil has dried completely. The lower the light, the less frequently they will need water. If you tend to overwater, consider using a terra cotta pot and a cactus or succulent potting mix.
Seasonal Availability: Typically available July through February, depending on supplier availability.

Let soil dry out almost completely before watering again. Your pot should have a drainage hole to reduce the likelihood of root rot caused by water accumulating in the bottom of the pot.
