Sweet Kate Spiderwort is an underutilized perennial with golden-yellow, daylily-like foliage and small, violet-blue flowers starting in early summer. The blooms only last a day but so many are produced you'll hardly notice. Flowers are loved by pollinators
Spiderwort grows can tolerate a wide range of conditions, but grows best in part sun with fertile, moist, well-drained soil. Plants can tolerate full sun if there is adequate moisture, and will also tolerate full shade, though flowering may be reduced. Sweet Kate has the best foliage colour in full sun, but will burn if the soil is too dry.

Water every 1-3 days for first year until established (based on outdoor temperature & plant's water consumption). Be sure to increase watering in heat of summer and, watch for wilting or browning as signs to increase watering frequency.
