Spirea 'Bridal Wreath'
Spiraea x vanhouttei
Bridal Wreath Spirea is a large shrub that produces arching branches that are covered in clusters of small, white blooms in late spring/early summer. The flowering is so abundant that the whole shrub is almost entirely covered. The blue-green foliage develops purple tones in the fall.
Spirea grows best in full sun, though it will tolerate some shade. It prefers average, somewhat moist, well-drained soils, but is tolerant of many soil conditions. It's somewhat drought-tolerant once established.
Seasonal Availability: Typically available May through September, depending on suppliers availability.
