Spirea Double Play 'Doozie®'

Double Play Doozie® is an improved form of spirea that is seedless and non-invasive, has better disease resistance, and reblooms through the summer. The leaves emerge deep red in spring before maturing to green. In early summer, clusters of small reddish-pink flowers appear that are loved by pollinators. In the fall, the leaves turn shades of brick-red and burgundy.

Spirea grows best in full to part sun with average, well-drained soil. They can grow in most soil types as long as they are well-drained and are fairly drought-tolerant once established.
