Goldmound is a deciduous shrub that has golden-yellow foliage in spring that fades to greenish-yellow as it matures. In early summer, it produces flat clusters of small, light pink flowers that are loved by pollinators. In the fall, the leaves turn shades of orange, red, and yellow.
Spirea grows best in full to part sun with average, well-drained soil. They can grow in most soil types as long as they are well-drained and are fairly drought-tolerant once established.

Care
Full sun outdoors (6-8+ hours of direct sun) and Part shade outdoors (4 hours of direct sun)
Water every 2-4 days for the first year until established (based on outdoor temperature & plant's water consumption).
Increase watering in the heat of summer and watch for wilting or browning as signs to increase watering frequency.
