Color Wheel Stokes Aster is an underutilized perennial that features large flowers that open white and darken over time to lavender and dark purple. Flowering starts in midsummer. Blooms are loved by pollinators and are so profuse they almost entirely cover the plant.
Stokes Aster grows best in full sun in airy, moist, well-drained soils. Light shade is tolerate but flowering may be reduced. Good drainage is essential for survival, especially over winter. Drought tolerant once established.

Care
Full sun outdoors (6-8+ hours of direct sun) and Part shade outdoors (4 hours of direct sun)
Water every 1-3 days for first year until established (based on outdoor temperature & plant's water consumption). Be sure to increase watering in heat of summer and, watch for wilting or browning as signs to increase watering frequency.
