Thyme Broadleaf
Plectranthus amboinicus
Broadleaf Thyme is also known as Cuban Oregano or Mexican Mint. It has a strong, pungent but savoury flavour, described as a mix of oregano and thyme with a hint of mint.
You can harvest your broadleaf thyme as needed throughout the growing season, just don't remove more than 1/3 of the total foliage so your plant can still produce new growth.
Broadleaf Thyme grows best in full sun with average, well-drained soil. Allow the top few inches of soil to dry out before watering again.
Seasonal Availability: Typically available April through June, depending on suppliers availability.

Care
Full sun outdoors (6-8+ hours of direct sun)
Let top 1-2" dry out before watering again.
If it is planted in a pot, it should have a drainage hole to reduce the likelihood of root rot caused by water accumulating in the bottom of the pot.
Increase watering in the heat of summer and watch for wilting or browning as signs to increase watering frequency.
