Air Plant Juncifolia

Juncifolia is an air plant with long, thin, grass-like green leaves that can develop a red blush with strong light. With good care and adequate light, it can produce a violet flower spike. After flowering, it often produces new plants (pups) at the base, which can be removed to grow alone or left on the plant to form a clump. 

Air plants grow best in bright, indirect light but will tolerate medium light. They can be misted daily to provide hydration, but ideally should be soaked at least once a week for 10-20 minutes. After soaking, shake off any excess water and dry the plant upside down to discourage rot. If grown in a closed container, let it dry completely before putting it back.
