Black Ace Turtlehead is a moisture loving perennial with snapdragon-like, pure white flowers that appear in late summer. Leaves emerge dark green with a black cast and lighten over the summer.
Turtlehead grows best in part shade with moist to wet soils.
Seasonal Availability: Typically mid-April to August

Size: 3'-4' tall, 2'-3' wide
Bee-Friendly, Butterfly-Friendly, and Good for Wet Soil
Care
Part shade outdoors (4 hours of direct sun)
Water every 1-3 days for first year until established (based on outdoor temperature & plant's water consumption).
Increase watering in the heat of summer and watch for wilting or browning as signs to increase watering frequency.
