Verbena 'Vanessa™ Compact Bicolor Rose'
Verbena x hortensis 'Vanessa Compact Bicolor Rose'
Vanessa™ Compact Bicolor Rose is a mildew-resistant, heat-tolerant variety that produces clusters of soft blush-pink and white flowers with vivid rose-pink accents.
Verbenas are long-blooming annuals valued for their heat tolerance, spreading growth, and ability to flower continuously through the warmer months. They work well in containers, hanging baskets, window boxes, and garden beds, where they can trail over edges or spread between other plants.
Verbena performs best and produces the most flowers when grown in full sun. It prefers well-drained soil and should be watered when the soil just begins to dry, avoiding consistently soggy conditions. Regular fertilizing and occasional trimming or deadheading can help encourage fresh growth and continued blooming.
Seasonal Availability: Typically May through July

Care
Full sun outdoors (6-8+ hours of direct sun)
Let top 1-2" dry out before watering again.
If it is planted in a pot, it should have a drainage hole to reduce the likelihood of root rot caused by water accumulating in the bottom of the pot.
Increase watering in the heat of summer and watch for wilting or browning as signs to increase watering frequency.
