Viburnum 'Redwing™'
Viburnum trilobum 'J.N. Select'
Redwing™ is a type of highbush cranberry viburnum with leaves that emerge wine-red in spring before fading to green, flat-topped clusters of creamy-white flowers in spring, a brilliant cranberry-red fall foliage colour, and, if a genetically different variety is nearby, bright red cranberry-like fruits that are loved by birds. Redwing™ is a true cultivar of the highbush cranberry viburnum and is not a hybrid.
Viburnum grows best in full to part sun with average, somewhat moist, well-drained soil. They are somewhat drought-tolerant once established.
