Viburnum 'Summer Snowflake'
Viburnum plicatum tomentosum 'Summer Snowflake'
Summer Snowflake is a slightly more compact variety of doublefile viburnum. It produces flat-topped clusters of creamy-white flowers in late spring/early summer, bright red fruits that ripen to black, and green leaves that turn burgundy-red to purple-red in the fall.
Viburnum grows best in full to part sun with average, somewhat moist, well-drained soil. Doublefile viburnum prefers consistent moisture and tends to suffer during prolonged periods of drought.
