Water lettuce is a floating aquatic plant that provides natural biofiltration, algae control, and a spawning area for fish. Though Water Lettuce does flower, the blooms are small and rarely noticed.
Never release Water Lettuce into a lake, stream or other natural body of water. Only grow it in contained household ponds, water features or aquariums.
Seasonal Availability: Typically available year-round, depending on supplier availability.

Care
Full sun outdoors (6-8+ hours of direct sun) and Part shade outdoors (4 hours of direct sun)
All plants classified as water plants prefer wet roots or to be partially submerged, depending on their submersion depth preferences. Plants with a submersion depth starting with 0cm can be planted in wet areas in the garden, in addition to pond edges.
