
Water Mint
Mentha aquatica
Water Mint is an aromatic perennial that releases a fragrance when the leaves are crushed. Tiny, ball-shaped clusters of pale pink to purple flowers appear in mid to late summer.
Water Mint grows best in full sun to part shade with consistent moisture or in shallow water. It will spread via rhizomes and is a vigorous grower.
Seasonal Availability: Typically available May through September, depending on supplier availability.

Care
Full sun outdoors (6-8+ hours of direct sun) and Part shade outdoors (4 hours of direct sun)
All plants classified as water plants prefer wet roots or to be partially submerged, depending on their submersion depth preferences. Plants with a submersion depth starting with 0cm can be planted in wet areas in the garden, in addition to pond edges.
