White Fleece Flower
Persicaria polymorpha
White Fleece Flower is a large perennial that is easily mistaken for a shrub, given its sturdy stems and substantial size. In midsummer, plums of creamy-white flowers are formed and last for weeks before turning into pinkish-red seeds by late summer. It is a low maintenance plant that is very tolerant of heat and humidity.
White Fleece Flower grows best in full to part sun and isn't fussy about soils as long as they are moist. However, it can be somewhat drought tolerant once established.
