Willow 'Golden Weeping'
Salix alba 'Tristis'
Golden Weeping Willow is a large, ornamental, deciduous tree. It features bright yellow twigs that hang towards the ground and are covered in small green leaves in spring and summer, which turn golden-yellow in the fall. It makes a great specimen tree by a pond, stream, or any body of water.
Willows grow best in full sun with fertile, moist to wet, well-drained soil. They cannot tolerate dry soil when young, so ensure you are watering regularly and keeping the soil moist. We don't recommend planting Weeping Willows by houses, as the roots will break sewer and water pipes and the foundation if there are any leaks.
Seasonal Availability: Typically available May through August, depending on suppliers availability.
