Gaultheria procumbens
Wintergreen makes a great addition to indoor mixed planters with its dark green foliage, bright red berries, and low-growing habit. As a bonus, Wintergreen can be planted outdoors in a shady area once the temperature has warmed up. It is a native perennial that is hardy to zone 3.

Bright, indirect light indoors
Keep soil moist, but not soggy. Your pot should have a drainage hole to reduce the likelihood of root rot caused by water accumulating in the bottom of the pot.
