Wisteria 'Blue Moon'
Wisteria macrostachya 'Blue Moon'
Blue Moon is a cold-hardy variety of Kentucky Wisteria with lavender-blue flowers in late spring/early summer, with a possible rebloom in late summer/early fall. Like all Wisterias, it requires a strong support system to grow on and regular pruning. Kentucky Wisteria is generally less aggressive than other varieties.
Wisteria grows best in full sun with slightly acidic, fertile, well-draining soil. They like moisture, but will not tolerate standing water.
