Yew 'Maureen'
Taxus x media 'Maureen'
Maureen is a compact, columnar, slow-growing variety of yew. It features dense growth and dark green needles. Its columnar habit makes it great for tight spaces, privacy screens, hedges, or gardens that are low on space.
Yews grow best in full to part sun, but can tolerate close to full shade. They prefer moist, sandy/loamy, well-drained soil and will not tolerate wet conditions; good drainage is essential for their survival. We recommend planting them in sheltered locations, as winter winds can dry out their needles.
Seasonal Availability: Typically available May through September, depending on suppliers availability.
