Yucca 'Color Guard'
Yucca filamentosa 'Color Guard'
Color Guard is a variety of yucca. It features sword-like green leaves with yellow stripes at the center that form a clump over time. Once mature, it produces a spike of creamy-white bell-shaped flowers in early summer.
Yuccas grow best in full sun with dry to moderate, well-drained soil. They will not tolerate wet, poorly-drained soils, especially over winter. They are tolerant of heat, drought, poor, sandy soils, and salt spray.
Seasonal Availability: Typically available May through August, depending on suppliers availability.
